The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup Season ‘23 wrapped up its exhilarating run at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.
Spanning over three months and hosting eight races, this season witnessed 200 entries, narrowing down to a final grid of 25 top riders - 10 professionals and 15 amateurs - racing fiercely on the track-ready Royal Enfield Continental GT-R650.

The championship aims to democratize track racing for both novices and seasoned racers. This season maintained the Pro-Am format introduced last year, encouraging inclusivity and competitive spirit among racers.
Adrian Sellers, Head of Custom and Motorsport at Royal Enfield, lauded the success of the Continental GT Cup. He highlighted the championship's role in nurturing aspiring racers and celebrated the talent showcased throughout the season. Sellers also emphasized the recent addition of the Royal Enfield Track School training program, aimed at refining racers' skills and nurturing their passion for track racing.
This season witnessed thrilling competitions in both Amateur and Professional categories. The Amateur category saw Md. Samrul Zubair clinch the Championship with 76 points, followed by Vignesh Goud and Kayan Patel, closely trailing at 59 points each, with Goud securing the advantage due to his three race wins.
In the Professional category, the leaderboard was a spectacle of intense battles, ultimately crowning Abhishek Vasudev as the champion with 54 points, trailed by Jagadeesh Nagaraj and Ullas Nanda at 45 and 39 points, respectively.

The season was a battleground of adrenaline-fueled races with numerous nail-biting finishes, capturing the tenacity and skill of the racers on the track. Looking forward, Royal Enfield envisions even more thrilling opportunities in the next season.
Royal Enfield's expanded global Motorsports program includes the Track School program alongside the Continental GT Cup. The Track School program, scheduled across various cities in India, offers participants track-spec Royal Enfield GT650 twin-cylinder motorcycles for supervised training sessions, led by experienced instructors.
It provides a stepping stone for aspiring racers to enhance their skills and potentially participate in the next season.
