The Bajaj Cub, a motor scooter produced by Bajaj Auto, was a limited edition offering that hit the market in 1987, featuring an innovative electronic ignition system designed for scooters. This model, however, had a relatively short lifespan as it was quickly discontinued. It typically came with a detachable single footrest, although an all-round footrest was available as an optional feature.

The discontinuation of the Bajaj Cub was largely attributed to the remarkable success of its more powerful counterpart, the Chetak, which boasted a 150cc engine and a 4-speed transmission. In comparison, the Cub featured a smaller 100cc engine and smaller wheels. Upon its initial release, the Bajaj Cub was priced at around INR 9,500/-
